TARGET GROUP - those desiring to be qualified as an Engine Boss (ENGB).

TRAINEE PREREQUISITES

• qualified FFT1 and successful completion of S230 Crew Boss (Single Resource)

COURSE DESCRIPTION - This is a skill course designed to produce student proficiency in the performance of all duties associated with the engine boss, Topics include: engine and crew capabilities and limitations, information sources, fire size-up considerations, tactics and wildland/urban interface.

COURSE OBJECTIVES - Upon completion of this course, students will:
