COURSE DESCRIPTION - This course deals primarily with the supervisory and managerial apsects of the Initial Attack Incident Commander.

COURSE OBJECTIVES - Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Gather essential information about the incident and lead initial attack forces to the incident.
• Size up the fire, plan the strategy and tactics with the available resources.
• Communicate information.
• Brief and deploy initial attack resources and make adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain adequate records and participate in post-fire activities.
